California Dept. of Alcohol and Drug Programs Certification
From ADP's website: “In addition to facility licensure, ADP provides a voluntary facility certification process to identify those programs which exceed minimum levels of service quality and are in substantial compliance with State program standards. . .
Obtaining certification is considered advantageous in gaining the confidence of both potential residents and third party payers. Participating programs also benefit through the associated technical assistance, training and recommendations for program improvements which are available within the State’s alcohol and drug program network.”

The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) was created to ensure the public access to accurate and responsible information on alcohol and drug addiction treatment and other resources for combating the disease. The NAATP advocates for increased awareness, access and availability of quality drug and alcohol addiction treatment, and works in partnership with other organizations with similar goals.
