The Above It All Team

Our Treatment Team is living proof that recovery works, that there is a wonderful life available to us beyond addiction.

Our team knows how to share the miracle of recovery in a safe, effective way, with those who struggle with this awful, life-threatening problem. Clients are treated with care and respect.

Our team is larger than most, particularly considering the limited number of clients we accept at our facilities. They've been clean and sober for decades. We believe that's the kind of service we must offer in order to reach our mutual goal of long-term clean and sober living.

Our team members enjoy the rewarding feeling that comes with watching clients come alive again, some seemingly for the first time. It is truly miraculous.

Whether it's you or your loved one who stands in need, our team members are ready to listen when you're ready to call 877-224-9290 or 800-307-8939

Dennis Wright Dennis Wright, RASI , Counselor

Hello my name is Dennis Wright. I am one of the counselors here at AIA, and I can state unequivocally that I love my job. I am Southern California born and raised and found freedom in the 12 step fellowships 33 years ago. I did not maintain my freedom for the first ten years because of continuous relapses but I have now, through the God of my understanding, accumulated 23 continuous years of clean and sober time.

I believe in my fellow man and his ability to overcome any obstacle with determination and perseverance. I have witnessed hundreds of men come to believe in themselves by coming to believe in a higher power, which has led them to a God of their own understanding. This understanding has enabled them to stay clean and sober through sometimes unbelievable tragedies and accomplishments.

In short, I am blessed in every area of my life and I have the understanding that I am eligible for even more blessings as long as I am willing to fulfill my greatest purpose. In the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, it states on page 77; "Our real purpose is to fit ourselves to be of maximum service to God and the people about us." This thought remains with me in all I do and say. Well...

I am just getting started on life because I know that if I remain clean and sober, I can have all my dreams. It is never too late and we are never too old to have it all. I have a genuine love for you and anyone who has to struggle with the disease of addiction and alcoholism. God Bless you, Jesus loves you, thank you.

Matthew Warren Matthew Warren, CADC-II, ICADC, Primary Counselor

As a result of intensive effort to understand and address my own substance dependence issues, I have found myself inspired to share recovery solutions and revelations with those anxious to find answers and solutions to their own personal substance abuse related dilemmas. During my career I have targeted the understanding of neuro associations, behavioral and philosophical reinforcement, the disease concept, loss of choice and the impact of these on the mind, body and spirit of individuals and their families. New revelations are emerging that give us exciting proposals for recovery and total life changes today. By using music, skits, nature, activities, group processing, the 12 steps, educational classroom presentations and developing community spirit we will gain vision of rewarding and fulfilling alternatives to chemical addiction. I look forward to being a part of your best life ever.
